An ardent devotee couple of Param Poojya Sri Gurudev Smt Geetha & Sri Bala Subramanyam had extended invitation to HIM long back for HIS divine presence in the ‘Upanayan’ (thread ceremony) of their son.

On 1st July 2017 ,  Param Poojya Sri Gurudev proceeded to Chennai.  HE was offered befitting welcome and on 2nd and 3rd July HE was present at the venue to the delight of the hosts.  There once again the hosts offered traditional welcome and performed ‘charan vandana’.  On request of the parents HE blessed  their son With a new name Sri Nischal Sharma.   

HE  also visited homes of the devotees  on their humble request.  On 4th July HE came back to Siddhaloka.

House Warming Ceremony

On the auspicious day of ‘Akshaya Tratiya’ Param Poojya Sri Gurudev was invited at the House warming ceremony of “SRI NITYANANDA NILAYA” the newly constructed house of Smt. & Sri Sathyendra.

The rituals were started on the previous day and on 29 th April morning Param Poojya Sri Gurudev graced the event. The family was very happy to have HIS presence with them. The environment was very joyous and along with the chanting of ‘mantra’ they performed ‘charan vandana’. HE stayed there for sometime. Some close relatives of Smt. Jayalakshmi also arrived at that early hour and had Darshan of Param Poojya Sri Gurudev.

House Warming Ceremony

On 14th April 2016, Thursday , Param Poojya Sri Gurudev graced the House warming ceremony of the newly built house of Smt. & Sri Sudhir Sharma. On HIS arrival HE was greeted with the sacred sound of conch blown by the priest, elders offered garlands .

The host couple performed 'charan vandana' (worship of the lotus feet). After this welcome the traditional 'Gana Homa' and 'Lakshmi Homa' started following all the customs . The sacred cow was given the first entry, and then the final oblations were done for the Homa. At 1.30 pm Prasad (meals) was received by all guests.

Param Poojya Sri Gurudev has selected Talwara , in Hoshiarpur District of Punjab as the place for HIS stay in summer, this year. HE reached on 15th March and will camp there for 2 months.

In addition to the visitors, there were small trips to nearby places which kept HIM busy. HE visited some Samadhi shrines of Siddhas and Gurus, surrounding Talwara. First of all it was the abode of Baba Lal ji. HE visited Baba Lal Ji ki gaadi at ‘Datarapur’ and the place where he did penance ‘Brindavan’.

Second day it was the place where Pandavas stayed during there ‘Vanavaas’. The place is called as ‘Pandayan’ in memory of Pandavas. After this HE visited the nearby place and had Darshan at the samaadhi shrine of Siddhaguru ‘Shri Dayaalu Baba’. Next in line was the samaadhi shrine of one more Siddha ‘Shri Bohare vale Shah Ji’.

Third day HE visited an old Shiva-temple ‘Kathagarh’. Same day in the evening HE visited yet another shrine of a Siddha from ‘Udaseen ‘ cult ‘Shri Ghaati vale Baba’ and had drashan of Samaadhi and Dhooni.

At all places Param Poojya Sri Gurudev was received with great reverence. The Heads of the institutions presented HIM offerings and dakshina.

SIDDHALOKA FOUNDATION DAY

The 24th Siddhaloka foundation day was celebrated on 15th January 2016 at Siddhaloka. Giving a brief account of the incidents which lead to Foundation of Siddhaloka, Param Poojya Shri Gurudev narrated the story of ‘Panch Pandavs’ reaching here with their mother to observe the one year period of incongnition. The demon ‘Bakasura’ was killed by Bhima at Chakravak nagari (the present Kaivara). He incarnated here as a thorn named ‘Badabaka’ before Pandavas arrival. 

This place was filled with thorny bushes and rocks. After this story Few Bhajans from ‘Chetan Gita’ were chanted. Arati was shown to Siddhas. Prasad was distributed to one and all with the special prasad of ‘Pongal’.

On 30th July evening ‘Guru Chowk’ was full of devotees who had come to celebrate Sri Guru Poornima on 31st July. The day started with the chanting of Sri Gurugita, in the gracious presence of Param Poojya Sri Gurudev. The Dhyan Mandir was filled to its capacity as more and more devotees joined in the morning. After Arati Param Poojya Sri Gurudev blessed everyone with the holy peacock feather wand.

At 8 am devotees started ‘Shramadaana’(Guruseva), men took up the task of leveling the road and women did the cleaning of children park by grass and bush cutting . At 1 pm ‘Prasad’ was served at Janananda Prasad Mandir. All had the joy of “Guru Darshan”, when Param Poojya Sri Gurudev came in the evening.

Param Poojya Sri Gurudev visited the residence of Sri & Smt. Pradeep on their request on Saturday the 4th July. HE along with HIS staff were welcomed by the couple with utmost love and respect. The ‘Charan Vandana’ was performed by washing the holy feet and worshipped offering haldi, kumkum, flower and garland. After the Arati the couple offered the fruits and new cloth. The lunch was served to all, which included delicious Kerala dishes. The party left for Siddhaloka in the evening.

From last two years Ooty has become HIS place of choice for stay in summers.

This year also HE arrived here on 7th March , where Mr. John William extended warm welcome with his team, with the immense joy as they were seeing HIM after a year. Some members who had accompanied HIM from Bangalore prepared for the back journey , where as the two Trustees Sri K.Ravi and Sri Kirupakaran stayed back to look after the arrangements for HIS comfortable stay.

HE had some visitors in addition to the weekly outings to keep HIM busy. Mr. Gunther Zeising from Germany, who is now a days stays at Mysore University to propagate his project of turning water into diesel, visited Param Poojya Sri Gurudev and discussed the days of his stay at Gurudev Siddhapeeth, Ganeshpuri.

On 15th January 2015, devotees started coming to Siddhaloka in the morning to participate in the evening Satsang in connection with the 23rd Foundation Day of Siddhaloka.

Right at 4 pm the Dhyaan mandir was filled with devotees and the Satsang commenced. After the prayer in HIS 1 hr. long discourse Param Poojya Sri Gurudev explained how Siddhaloka came to existence 23 years ago and development work took place . HE led a song from “Chetan Gita” ‘ Guru villade, arivellide…’ (how to attain the knowledge without the guidance of the Guru?) . Even after taking Shaktipaat initiation, instead of continuing their meditation people running here and there for their salvation. The satsang concluded with the distribution of Prasad.
